• Artists will be scheduled to pick up the Little Free Library (LFL) WILL  (blank canvas) at Fort Lauderdale City Hall (parking lot). 

• Artists will take home the (LFL) to create their artwork.

• Artists will have until mid December to complete their artwork.

• Artist will return their completed (LFL) art work to Fort Lauderdale City Hall (parking lot) 

• Artists completed LFL artwork will be entered in the competetion for the cash prices.

• Artists cash prices and stipends will be paid by Action For Literacy in the form of a check the day of the event on January 2023. Be sure we have your name listed correct

• Artist must must use paints in their creations durable to endure the elements. We recommend Rust-Oleum latex gloss paint which seems to hold up best.

• Glueing items are not recommended  they don't last long.

• Artists should use common sense and their imagination on their art creations. Artwork related to the celebration is encouraged.

• Artist cannot use political, religious, profanity, violence, personal branding, promotions etc in their art creation.

• Artists are expected to attend the MLK event on January 2023.

• We will soon announce the exact date and location of the event.

• On this day we will pay out all of the stipends and cash prices.
